Project proposal

I propose the implementation of online business marketing for major companies. Most companies market their product using manual ways which require the physical input of humans. This has proven to be not only tedious but also costly. Many of these organizations have ended up increasing the human resources in a bid to increase their marketing power. The primary challenge here is that it results in increased costs (Jaworski, 2018). However, the integration of technology such as online marketing using websites can help organizations. This enables companies to market their goods and services to their customers at their convenience whenever they are. Transactions are also done online and such results in increased marketing efficiency. This essay will involve a proposal to integrate and implement online marketing to companies.

Online marketing is a type of technological advancement that allows for selling of goods and services using the internet through a website. Firstly, this requires the development of an appropriate site for a company that will facilitate business transactions and the update of business inventory online. Through it, companies can have an increased market share and better sells. It allows customers to shop for their select goods and services online at their convenience without necessarily visiting the companies in person. This makes the whole process of marketing less tedious and effective. However, such a project will lead to laying off many of employee who works in the marketing department. It will also require the employment of extra IT staff to monitor the websites and ensure their maintenance.

The main goals of this project reduction of costs. This will involve modification of the human resource in companies will ultimately lead to the lowered cost of marketing. Companies will spend less to market their goods and services as customers will be able to find them online by using the internet (Jaworski, 2018).Another goal of this project will enable proper inventory management that will facilitate tracking of inventory and avoid overstocking. In most companies, inventory management requires the employment of an inventory manager who is charged with the duty of tracking the flow of goods as they are sold to customers. However, using online marketing will facilitate a smooth flow of goods and introduce a right way of keeping track of inventory. Thirdly, this project aims at increasing profitability of companies. This will be achieved through discounts that will be offered to the companies by the distributors of their goods

The primary objectives of this project will include increasing the efficiency of companies in marketing their goods by enabling a faster sale of goods and services. Again, it aims to improve customer service by allowing the customer to give their feedback after purchasing products either by reviewing them or rating them. Thirdly, it seeks to enable the delivery of goods and services at the homes of customers or their convenience (Armstrong, Kotler, Harker & Brennan, 2015). The principal customers for this project will be the regular customers who buy goods from a company as well as international customers. Stakeholders will involve banks which have partnerships with the companies to allow for online transactions. Another stakeholder will be producers of goods and services who will use the website to sell their goods through the leading online marketing company.

Implementation of this project to the business operation will have significant milestones to business operations. Firstly, it will lead to globalization of business as companies will be able to sell their products to international customers. This will improve the business horizons of these companies as they will be able to deliver to customers overseas. Again, it will increase the market share of such companies (Armstrong, Kotler, Harker & Brennan, 2015. This is because many customers will be able to visit the websites of these companies and order goods. This is in contrast to the ordinary means that companies use to market their products. Further, it means a milestone in bringing in different stakeholders to bring in their goods and services. Such will result in increased profitability of the companies from their transactions.

The implementation of this project will include a particular timeline that depends on the much that a company will be willing to invest. Ideally, it will have to0 goo through the implementation, implementation and closing stages to efficiently integrate online marketing technology into business operations (Jaworski, 2018). Tasks to be undertaken include employment of IT staff. It will require the laying off of some employees and enter the inventory into the business websites. It will also require companies to provide transport for the bought goods and proper customer support.

The cost of implementing this project to a company will involve high costs as it will include the development of unique websites to support online buying and selling of goods. It will also require the employee of extra IT personnel. Computers will be needed to enable such operation, and the employees will need to be trained on how to use these websites and how to ensure proper inventory management. One of the most significant challenges of this project is ensuring that customers become aware of these shifts and starting using to buy goods and services. However, this challenge can be overcome by employing the technique of advertisements and product promotion.
