Discuss current and future goals can be useful in a group because sometimes people have goals and they’re having trouble completing them and you might have the same goal in the group can work together to find a way to help achieve the goal as well as help look towards future goals and how you would be able to work on getting towards them now. Playing on different scenarios with the student can help the student realize the pros and cons of the situation without telling the students that these things are going to happen because you’re doing this it gives the student for control overseeing how these certain life choices will affect his or her future as well as his or her present. Developing a change plan can occur with a student when they are committed to change the behavior what is being discussed. Researching implications can also show the students the different variety of levels and also how other students react to the same situation and what they did.
